12-4-18 TRAFFIC CRASH / FATALITY - 5100 block of Hixson Pike

• Vehicle 2 (Harley Davidson) was traveling north on Hixson Pike in the right lane.
• Vehicle 1 (GMC) was in the center turn lane in front of Karl’s Restaurant.
• Vehicle 1 made a left turn from Hixson Pike south with the intention of turning into Karl’s.
• Vehicle 1 turned in front of Vehicle 2 causing the crash.
• The rider of Vehicle 2 was thrown from the bike.
• The rider of Vehicle 2 was declared deceased on scene by Hamilton County EMS.
• The driver of Vehicle 1 stated he never saw Vehicle 2 before making his turn.
• The driver of Vehicle 1 remained on scene and is cooperated with police.
• This investigation is active and will continue in a logical manner.

Thomas Allison (Male, 55)
