1-15-19 UPDATE/12-17-18 Death Investigation - 1020 W. 37th St.

Chattanooga Police responded to a medical emergency call at 1020 West 37th Street. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident:

• Upon arrival CPD Officers found a baby receiving CPR
• Hamilton County EMS responded and transported the baby to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased
• CPD Violent Crimes and Special Victims Unit Investigators along with Child Protective Services responded to the scene to conduct the preliminary investigation
• Official cause of death will be determined by the Hamilton County Medical Examiner's office
• The investigation into the facts surrounding this incident is ongoing

VICTIM:

Juvenile (male, 9 months)

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525 or submit an anonymous tip via the Chattanooga PD Mobile App.
