1-15-19 UPDATE/1-7-19 Traffic Fatality - Seeking the Community's Help


On January 10, 2019 another passenger in the vehicle Turner was driving was arrested by Chattanooga Police. Hailee Hicks was charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident involving Death or Personal Injury and Failure to Render Aid.

All parties traveling with Turner at the time of the crash are now accounted for.

DRIVER:

Dwight Turner Jr. (male)
DOB: 11/15/92

CHARGES: Vehicular Homicide x 2, Aggravated Assault

PASSENGER:

Sara Ashlee Meredith (female)

DOB: 2/13/97

CHARGES: Leaving Scene of Accident involving Death or Personal Injury

PASSENGER:

Hailee Freedom Hicks (female)

DOB: 7/5/96

The Chattanooga Police Department is requesting help from the community in locating Dwight Turner Jr. He is a suspect involved in a fatal traffic crash that occurred on January 3, 2019.

Through investigation, CPD's Traffic Unit determined Turner was the driver of the vehicle (Dodge Ram) that struck another vehicle (Chrysler TWC) at 1400 South Holtzclaw Avenue on January 3, 2019 at 9:12 p.m. Two people were killed and another critically injured as a result of that crash.

Dwight Turner Jr. is 26 years old. He is 5'11" in height and weighs approximately 190 lbs. Turner has brown eyes and black hair. See attached photo.
