1-7-19 Pedestrian Struck / Fatality - 3440 Wilcox Blvd

• Vehicle 1 (Ford Expedition) was leaving a gas pump in the parking lot of Kanku’s Gas Station
• Vehicle 1 turned right from the gas pump striking the victim who was running across the parking lot
• Driver of Vehicle 1 then fled the scene
• Driver of Vehicle 1 called police from a nearby location advising he may have hit something in the parking lot of Kanku’s
• Police responded and interviewed the driver
• Driver 1 was charged with multiple counts and is in custody at the Hamilton County Jail

Anwoiane Calloway (Male, 4/27/1982)

Charges:

Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Death, Failing to Render Aid, Driving without Insurance, and Driving on a Suspended License

Victim (Deceased):

Male (2)
