UPDATE 1/26-19/1-24-19 Stabbing / Arrest - 100 block Willie Way

On January 23, 2019 at 10:24 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to the 100 block of Willie Way on a report of a person shot. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident:

• Upon arrival, Police located the victim unresponsive with critical injuries.
• Hamilton County EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital.
• CPD Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene for further investigation.
• Victim was suffering from multiple stab wounds.
• Investigators and medical personnel are working to determine if the victim was also shot.
• Major Crimes Investigators identified a suspect and obtained warrants for Attempted 1st Degree Murder.
• Suspect was located and taken into custody in Morgan County, TN.

Suspect (In-Custody):

Joanna Alder (Female, 35)

DOB: 12/01/83

Charge:

Attempted First Degree Murder
