2-4-19 UPDATE #2/1-31-19 UPDATE: Arrest/1-29-19 Shooting - 700 block West Main Street Court


UPDATE: On January 31, 2019, the Chattanooga Police Department charged Robert Orr with 2 counts of Attempted First Degree Murder and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony in connection with the January 29, 2019 shootings that occurred in the 700 block of West Main Street Court. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

Attempted Murder x 2

On January 29, 2019 at approximately 12:34 a.m., Chattanooga Police were dispatched to the 700 block of West Main Street Court on a report of persons shot.

  • Upon arrival, Police located two victims who had sustained gunshot wounds.
  • Hamilton County EMS responded and transported the victims to a local hospital.
  • Victim 1 is considered to be in critical condition.
  • Victim 2's injuries are considered non life-threatening.
  • The CPD Violent Crimes Bureau was notified and responded to the scene.
  • This investigation is active and on-going.

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
