1-30-19 Pedestrian Struck/Fatality - 5500 Highway 58

• Driver 1 stated he was traveling south on Highway 58 when he observed someone walking south in the emergency lane.
• As Vehicle 1 was passing the pedestrian, contact was made between the two.
• Pedestrian 1 was thrown off the roadway and came to rest in bushes located on the west side of Hwy 58.
• Hamilton County EMS responded and pronounced the pedestrian deceased.
• This investigation is active and will continue in a logical manner.
