The Chattanooga Police Department is seeking assistance from community members in identifying a suspect involved in a bank robbery that occurred on Monday, January 7, 2019 at BB&T Bank, 2120 Gunbarrel Road.

The white male suspect entered the business, demanded money from a teller, and left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Investigators determined after the suspect left the bank, he altered his appearance by shaving his facial hair and changing clothes.

The attached photos were captured by various surveillance cameras that show the suspect during the robbery and soon after the robbery. Soon after the robbery, the suspect did not have a beard and was wearing a short-sleeve white shirt and light blue shorts. The suspect has tattoos on his arms and chest, approximately 5'10" in height, and weighs 160 - 170 pounds.
