2-8-19 Traffic Crash / Fatal - 2300 N. Chamberlain Ave.

• Vehicle 1 (Mercury Grand Marquis) was traveling east on Crutchfield St.
• Vehicle 2 (Honda Accord) was traveling south on North Chamberlain Ave.
• Vehicle 1 failed to stop for the posted stop sign on Crutchfield striking Vehicle 2
• Driver of Vehicle 1 was transported with serious injuries to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS
• On February 2, 2019 driver of Vehicle 1 succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash
• On February 8, 2019 CPD's Traffic Unit received notification from the Hamilton County Medical Examiner's office that the driver of Vehicle 1's death was a result from injuries sustained in this crash
• The investigation is ongoing and proceeding in a logical manner

Driver 2:

Jessica Cox (Female, 27)
