2-21-19 - Traffic Crash / Fatality - 100 Glenwood Dr

• The Chevy S10 Blazer (Vehicle #2) was traveling north on Glenwood Drive while the Chevy Silverado (Vehicle #1) was traveling west on Oak Street.
• Vehicle #1 failed to stop at a posted stop sign and traveled in front of Vehicle #2, causing a T-Bone style collision.
• The front passenger from Vehicle #2 was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased on the scene by Hamilton County EMS.
• Other parties in the vehicles (5 persons) were transported to a local hospital by multiple ambulances for non-life threatening injuries.
• After release from the hospital, the driver of Vehicle #1 was placed in custody for Reckless Vehicular Homicide and failing to stop at a stop sign.
• This investigation will continue in a logical manner.

Passenger 2 (Deceased):

Elnora Winston (Female, 71)

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
