3-7-19 Traffic Crash / Fatal - 3800 Hixson Pike

• A silver Scion iQ (Vehicle 1) was traveling south on Hixson Pike through a curve.
• For unknown reasons, the vehicle went straight instead of negotiating the curve and ran off the right side of the roadway, striking a telephone pole.
• After striking the telephone pole, Vehicle 1 went airborne and struck a steel I-beam base of a billboard sign with the roof of the vehicle, completely wrapping around the I-beam.
• Hamilton County EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the driver deceased.
• The investigation will continue in a logical manner.
