4-10-19 Arrest: Homicide - 1900 block Northpoint Blvd.

On April 10, 2019 at approximately 3:15 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to the 1900 block of Northpoint Boulevard on a report of a pedestrian struck.

Upon arrival Police located the victim on the ground in a parking lot.Hamilton County EMS responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.The CPD Violent Crimes Bureau and CPD Traffic Unit were notified and responded to the scene.Investigators determined there was an altercation between the suspect and victim on the parking lot. The suspect then intentionally struck the victim with an automobile.The suspect has been identified and a warrant has been taken out for criminal homicide.Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call the homicide tip line at 423-643-5100 or submit a tip via the CPD Mobile App. You can remain anonymous.
