4-26-19 UPDATE: ARREST/4-18-19 Shooting - 1050 Bailey Ave

On April 18, 2019 at approximately 3:20 p.m. Chattanooga Police were dispatched to a Person Shot call at 1050 Bailey Avenue. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident:

• Upon arrival, officers located a male party suffering from a gunshot wound.
• The victim stated to police that he and the suspect were involved in a vehicle accident in a parking lot prior to the shooting.
• The suspect followed the victim out of the parking lot and shot him while both were traveling in the 1000 block of Bailey Avenue.
• The victim was transported to a local hospital via Hamilton County EMS.
• The suspect was positively identified and warrants were obtained for his arrest.
• The Chattanooga Police Department's Violent Crimes Bureau is actively investigating this incident.

Christopher Bell (male, 29)

DOB: 7/22/1989

Warrants on file for:

Attempted Criminal Homicide and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
