5-18-19 Shooting / Homicide - 6700 block Ardis Lane

• Upon arrival, Police located 2 persons suffering from gunshot wounds.
• Hamilton County EMS responded and pronounced Victim 1 deceased on scene.
• Victim 2 was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries and later succumbed to those injuries.
• The shooter was identified and found to have sustained serious injury. He was transported to a local hospital.
• Police secured the scene and called for the CPD Violent Crimes Bureau to respond.
• After discussing the case with the Hamilton County District Attorney’s Office no charges will be filed at this time as the shooter appears to have acted in self defense.
• The investigation is active on-going at this time.

Cameron Denton (Male, 25)
