- Vehicle #2 (Peterbilt) was traveling west on I-24 in the number 2 lane.
- Driver of Vehicle #1 lost control, struck a guardrail, and crossed back into traffic in front of Vehicle #2.
- Vehicle #2 struck Vehicle #1 as it was crossing the interstate.
- Hamilton County EMS responded and transported the driver of Vehicle #1 to a local hospital.
