7-16-19 UPDATE #2 Second Arrest/7-15-19 UPDATE: ARREST/Suspect Wanted/7-14-19 Homicide / Shooting - 930 Douglas Street

UPDATE: Chattanooga Police have arrested one of two suspects involved in the shooting that occurred on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at 930 Douglas Street. Omerrieal Woods was apprehended on the evening of July 15, 2019 by CPD's Fugitive Unit with assistance from the United States Marshal Service, and East Ridge Police Department. Woods who is 29 years old is charged with Facilitation of First Degree Murder and two counts of Attempted First Degree Murder. He is in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.

The Chattanooga Police Department continues its search for the other suspect involved in this incident. Toddie Woods, brother of Omerrieal Woods, is wanted for First Degree Murder and two counts of Attempted First Degree Murder. Toddie Woods is a 5'10", 170 lb. black male with brown eyes and black hair. See attached photos.

On July 14, 2019 at approximately 3:48 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to 930 Douglas Street on a report of multiple persons shot.

• Upon arrival, Police located three males suffering from gunshot wounds.
• One male succumbed to his injuries.
• Hamilton County EMS transported victims to a local hospital.
• CPD Violent Crimes Bureau is pursuing active leads generated from numerous interviews and evidence obtained from the property management company.
• Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call the Homicide Tip Line at 423-643-5100 or submit a tip via the CPD Mobile App. You can remain anonymous.
