- Vehicle #1 (Buick Le Sable) was in the left turn lane east bound turning from E. Brainerd Rd to Hickory Valley Rd.
- Vehicle #2 (Chevy Silverado pick-up) was traveling west on E. Brainerd Rd. with a green signal.
- Driver of Vehicle #1 turned in front of Vehicle #2 in the intersection causing a collision.
- A passenger in Vehicle #1 was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS.
- Passenger in Vehicle #1 succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
- No other passengers or drivers were injured.
