10-6-19 Shooting - 6900 block Shallowford Road

• Upon arrival, Police located a large gathering of people.
• Police were met by Mr. Dewayne Love who advised he had been shot.
• Hamilton County EMS responded and transported him to a local hospital.
• Police secured the scene and detained a Mr. Tevin Davis in connection with the shooting.
• The CPD Violent Crimes Unit was notified and responded.
• Investigators were able to determine that both Mr. Love and Mr. Davis were intoxicated, in possession of firearms, and discharged them in a reckless manner.
• Mr. Love and Mr. Davis are both charged with Reckless Endangerment (Felony) and Possession of a Firearm While Intoxicated.They have both been transported and booked into the Hamilton County Jail.

Dewayne Love (In Custody):

(Male, 02/07/1982)

Charges: Reckless Endangerment (Felony) and Possession of a Firearm While Intoxicated.

Tevin Davis (In Custody):

(Male, 10/04/1992)

Charges: Reckless Endangerment (Felony) and Possession of a Firearm While Intoxicated.
