UPDATE (11-20-19): Chattanooga Police have filed charges against three suspects in the death of a 17-year-old found at 1664 Greendale Way on November 17, 2019. One adult suspect, Jermaine Grant, and one juvenile suspect, a 17-year-old female, are in custody in Hamilton County. There are warrants on file for the third suspect, Jalaycian Barrow. All three suspects are charged with Criminal Homicide and Especially Aggravated Robbery.

Chattanooga Police were informed that the victim passed away from injuries sustained in the shooting.

On November 17, 2019 at approximately 11:08 p.m., Chattanooga Police were dispatched to 1664 Greendale Way on a Person Shot call. The following are the preliminary facts of the investigation:

• Upon arrival, Police located the victim suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
• Victim was transported to a local hospital via Hamilton County EMS.
• People in the area reported hearing an argument prior to a gunshot.
• Suspect fled prior to police arrival.
• Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525 or submit a tip via the CPD Mobile App. You can remain anonymous.
