12-5-19 Pedestrian Struck / Fatal - 300 Interstate 75 SB

• Ms. Hollie Eades had just been involved in a rear end collision on Interstate 75 Southbound and had pulled her car over on the shoulder of the off ramp of East Brainerd.
• The other vehicle was located on the shoulder of Interstate 75 southbound.
• Ms. Eades left her vehicle to exchange information with the driver of
  the other vehicle and upon returning to her car, a separate vehicle was taking the East Brainerd Road exit and struck Ms. Eades as she crossed traffic.
• Hamilton County EMS responded to the scene and transported Ms. Eades to a local hospital where she would succumb to her injuries.
• Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525 or submit a tip via the CPD Mobile App. You can remain anonymous.
• The investigation will continue in a logical manner.
