10-1-20 Homicide- Shooting- 900 Dodson Avenue

• Upon arrival, Officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
• While Officers were attending to this victim they were notified of another victim a short distance away on Windsor Street.
• Officers located that victim and subsequently secured each location.
• Both victims were transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS with victim 1 suffering from a non life threatening injury and victim 2 suffering from a life threatening injury.
• Victim 2 would later succumb to his injuries.
• Investigators with the Violent Crimes Bureau responded to conduct an investigation.
• Preliminary information indicates that there was one incident and that victim 2 fled to the other location where he was found.
• Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call the homicide tip line at 423-643-5100 or submit a tip via the CPD Mobile App. You can remain anonymous.

Tyree Ray, 21 (Deceased)
