11-30-20 Traffic Fatality - 180.20 Interstate 24 Eastbound
- Vehicle #1 (Honda Odyssey) was travelling East on I-24.
- Vehicle #2 ( Volvo Semi with Trailer) was stopped on the right side shoulder of the Interstate, out of the lane of travel.
- For reasons not known, Vehicle #1 left the roadway to the right and struck the rear of Vehicle #2.
- Hamilton County EMS and CFD responded and pronounced all occupants of Vehicle #1 deceased on scene.
- Driver #2 was not injured.
- Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525 or submit a tip via the CPD Mobile App. You can remain anonymous.The investigation is ongoing and will continue in a logical manner.
