On March 19, 2020 at approximately 12:42 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a report of Person Shot in the 800 block of East Martin Luther King Boulevard. The following are the preliminary facts of the investigation:

• Upon arrival, police located a person with a gunshot wound lying in the residence.
• The person shot was pronounced deceased on scene by Hamilton County EMS.
• The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
• Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call the homicide tip line at 423-643-5100 or submit a tip via the CPD Mobile App. You can remain anonymous.
