6-8-21 UPDATE: Two suspects arrested / 5-10-21 Homicide- Shooting- 4858 Highway 58

Both suspects are 16-year-old males. One suspect is charged with First Degree Murder and Especially Aggravated Robbery. The other suspect is charged with First Degree Murder, Especially Aggravated Robbery, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. Both suspects are in custody at the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.

On May 10, 2021 at approximately 4:28 p.m., Chattanooga Police were dispatched to 4858 Highway 58 on a report of a person shot. The following are the preliminary facts of the investigation:

• Upon arrival Officers located a male party suffering from a gunshot wound and secured the scene.
• The victim was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS with life threatening injuries but later succumbed to his injuries.
• Investigators with the Violent Crimes Unit responded to conduct an investigation.
• Two still images and security camera video of the suspect are attached. 
• Chattanooga Police ask anyone who can identify the suspect or has information regarding this incident to call the Homicide tip line 423-643-5100 or submit a tip via the CPD Mobile App. You can remain anonymous.
