5-17-21 UPDATED RELEASE: Arrest / Shooting - 1200 block Grove St.

This is the same suspect who was charged in another shooting that occurred on May 3, 2021.

On January 19, 2021 at approximately 1:18 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a Person Shot call in the 1200 block of Grove Street. The following are the preliminary facts of the investigation:

• Upon arrival, police located the victim who was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
• Victim was taken to a hospital by Hamilton County EMS. 
• Investigators are following up on investigative leads. 
• Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525 or submit a tip via the CPD Mobile App. You can remain anonymous.

Victim:

Male, 19
