7-29-21 Traffic Fatality - 6200 Bonny Oaks Drive

• Vehicle #1 (Ford) was travelling East on Bonny Oaks Drive.
• For reasons unknown, Vehicle #1 made contact with Vehicle #2 (Toyota) who was also Eastbound in a side swipe style manner.
• Vehicle #1 then lost control, slid off the roadway and crashed into a utility pole before coming to rest against a nearby structure.
• Hamilton County EMS responded and pronounced the driver of Vehicle #1 deceased on scene.
• Driver #2 was not injured in the crash.
• Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525 or submit a tip via the CPD Mobile App. You can remain anonymous.
• The investigation is ongoing and will continue in a logical manner.
