3-28-22 Pedestrian Struck- Fatality - 100 West MLK Blvd

Vehicle #1 (Jaguar) was travelling East in the 100 block of West MLK Blvd.
Pedestrian #1 was crossing the same location from the South side of MLK travelling North.
Driver #1 failed to observe Pedestrian #1 and ultimately struck him with the vehicle.
Investigators were able to determine that Pedestrian #1 entered the street against the walk signal and did not have the right of way.
Pedestrian #1 was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS with life threatening injuries.
Investigators were notified over the weekend that Pedestrian #1 had succumbed to his injuries sustained in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing and will continue in a logical manner.
