Programs

By making small changes—like installing a rain barrel, rain garden, native plantings or becoming a “creek-friendly yard”—you have the potential to greatly improve our local waterways and ecosystem right in your own backyard!

Our RainSmart programs serve to not only educate Chattanooga residents on proper ways to reduce stormwater runoff through these installations but also to offer incentives for qualifying program participants like financial reimbursement or even a 25-75% reduction on their annual water quality fee.

If you are a business, institution or other entity, our Green Grants program offers partial funding for the design and construction of green infrastructure projects on private properties.

Click through to learn more about our RainSmart and Green Grants programs, which program is right for you, and how you could be eligible to save money while saving the environment.
