03-22-16 Smoke Alarm Alerts Sleeping Couple
Chattanooga, TN -- Theodore Herndon and his wife were asleep in their upstairs bedroom when their smoke alarm activated shortly after midnight. When they discovered that their home was on fire, they safely got out of the house and called 911.
03-22-16 St. Elmo Fire Displaces Family of Three
Chattanooga, TN -- Fire caused substantial damage to a home in St. Elmo around 8:30 Monday night.
03-21-16 Update on House Fire at 3001 15th Avenue
The cause of this fire has been ruled accidental. Captain Henry McElvain with the Fire Investigation Division said the fire was most likely caused by improperly discarded cigarette butts.
03-21-16 Fire Guts House in East Lake
Chattanooga, TN -- No injuries were reported in connection with a house fire this afternoon in East Lake. The Chattanooga Fire Department received the alarm at 2:42 p.m. and responded to 3001 15th Avenue with four fire companies.
