9-4-20 UPDATE: Suspect charged with Reckless Homicide / 10-2-19 Arrest in connection to 2018 fatal overdose
UPDATE: On September 4, 2020, Chattanooga Police Narcotics Investigators arrested James Kelly Harbison (53) on an additional charge in connection to the overdose death of Erik Patty that occurred on April 28, 2018. Harbison is now charged with Reckless Homicide. He was previously charged in October, 2019 with Tampering with Evidence and Filing False Reports.
10-6-20 Suspect Arrested / 8-31-20 Shooting- 2400 Dodson Avenue
UPDATE: On October 6, 2020, Chattanooga Police Homicide Investigators arrested a juvenile suspect in connection to the August 31, 2020 shooting of two juveniles in the 2400 block of Dodson Avenue.
The 17-year-old suspect is charged with two counts of Attempted Criminal Homicide, four counts of Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony. He is in custody at the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.
