8-18-20 Shooting - 1400 block Carousel Road
On August 18, 2020 at approximately 4:33 p.m., Chattanooga Police were notified that a person arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. The following are the preliminary facts of the investigation:

UPDATE #2 (8-19-20): On August 19, 2020, Brandon McDaniel was located and charged in the shooting death of Donald Troutwine that occurred at a home in the 4800 block of 15th Avenue. McDaniel is charged with Criminal Homicide and Felony Reckless Endangerment.

On August 16, 2020 at approximately 11:31 p.m., Chattanooga Police were notified that a person arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. The following are the preliminary facts of the investigation:

UPDATE: On September 11, 2020, Chattanooga Police Homicide Investigators arrested Ja'siah Johnson (18) in connection to the August 16 shooting of a 19-year-old in the 4300 block of Highway 58.
