8-26-20 UPDATE: Suspect in Custody / 7-26-20 Shooting - 7020 East Brainerd Road
Update: Javontae Jones was taken into custody on 8/18/20 by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Dept. He is charged with Attempted 1st Degree Murder and Especially Aggravated Robbery stemming from an incident at 7020 East Brainerd Road.
7-24-20 Shooting - unknown location
On July 24, 2020 at approximately 3:20 a.m., Chattanooga Police were called to a local hospital after a man arrived suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The following are the preliminary facts of the investigation:
7-23-20 Suspect in Custody / 7-22-20 Homicide - 2303 Greenwood Rd.
UPDATE (7-23-20): Double homicide suspect, Gabriel Boykins, was located and taken into custody without incident at approximately 11:45 a.m. on July 23, 2020. Law enforcement from six agencies, including the Chattanooga Police Department, worked together to locate Boykins in the 400 block of Black Oak Drive in Knoxville, Tennessee.
