On April 17, 2020 at approximately 8:01 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a Person Shot call in the 900 block of North Hawthorne Street. The following are the preliminary facts of the investigation:
UPDATES: 4-27-20 ARREST / 4-17-20/4-12-20 Homicide / Shooting - 7420 Bonny Oaks Drive
UPDATE (4-27-20): Chattanooga Police Department Investigators with the Violent Crimes Bureau have charged Barry Maples (DOB 12/26/82) with Criminal Homicide in relation to this shooting. This is the same suspect that was charged in yesterday's (4/26/20) Homicide on Shallowford Rd.

4-14-20 Shooting - 2100 block Milne Street
On April 14, 2020 at approximately 2:11 p.m., Chattanooga Police were dispatched to a local hospital after a juvenile male showed up with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. The following are the preliminary facts of the investigation:
4-12-20 Fatal Traffic Crash - 160 Highway 27 Southbound
On April 11, 2020 at approximately 11:48 p.m., the Chattanooga Police Department's Traffic/DUI Unit responded to 160 Highway 27 southbound on a two-vehicle traffic crash. The following was determined through interview, observation, and investigation.
