Home Assistance Repair Program
The Neighborhood Services Division will begin accepting applications for the Home Assistance Repair Program (HARP) after being awarded $500,000 from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). HARP, formerly known as the City of Chattanooga’s Minor Home Repair Program, has been aiding low-to-moderate-income families in essential home repairs for well over 14 years before stopping due to the pandemic. Now, with funding from ARPA in 2022, Neighborhood Services’ goal is to assist 90 or more families with mild to moderate home repairs over the course of two years.
Applications open May 15, 2023. You may learn more information by clicking HERE.

Let's Walk & Talk
Neighborhood Associations and residents within the community have an opportunity to address the concerns within their neighborhoods. During these walks, team members from various internal divisions will be represented so that residents can address concerns with code violations, traffic conflicts, crime, fire, programmatic suggestions, and much more!
Walks will occur on a monthly basis in coordination with the active Neighborhood Associations in all 9 City Council districts, Neighborhood Relations Specialist, and your City Council Representative. This program allows us to walk with you and see what you see first hand to get a clear view of what is impacting your neighborhoods. If your neighbors would like to schedule a Walk, please e-mail neighborhoodsrvcs@chattanooga.gov.
Neighborhood Roundtable
Neighborhood Roundtable brings together more than 120 neighborhood leaders from urban and suburban neighborhoods across the City of Chattanooga for monthly, one-hour training focused on methods to address neighborhood crime and safety as well as neighborhood association membership attraction, engagement, and retention.
