UPDATE (12-30-20): Chattanooga Police Department has arrested a suspect in the December 21, 2020 shooting of a 25-year-old male that occurred in the 3100 block of Calhoun Avenue.

Travis Burroughs is charged with Aggravated Assault and Reckless Endangerment. He is in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.

On December 20, 2020 at approximately 3:23 p.m., Chattanooga Police were dispatched to a shots fired call in the 2800 block of Dodson Ave The following are the preliminary facts of the investigation:

UPDATE: Chattanooga Police have arrested a suspect in the December 12, 2020 homicide of 29-year-old Christopher Trivette that occurred at 5000 New Country Drive. Mario Peoples (41) is charged with Criminal Homicide and in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.

On December 17, 2020 at approximately 9:39 p.m. Chattanooga Police Traffic Division responded to a serious injury crash at 1130 Interstate 75 North. The following was determined through interview, observation, and investigation:

The THSO’s statewide Booze It and Lose It campaign is part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over nationwide mobilization.
