ChiefDavid Roddy announced additions and changes to the Chattanooga Police Department's Executive Staff on Thursday, October 5, 2017.

All five chiefs of the CPD Executive Staff are long-time Chattanooga Police Department veterans with two decades or more experience each.

Chief Roddy named Assistant Chief Eric Tucker as CPD Deputy Chief. Assistant Chief Edwin McPherson will remain as Assistant Chief of Investigation and Assistant Chief Danna Vaughn will serve as the Assistant Chief of Department and Community Support Services. Captain Jason Irvin will serve as the Assistant Chief of the Special Operations Bureau and Captain Glenn Scruggs will serve as the Assistant Chief of Neighborhood Policing.
