8-27-17 Shots Fired - 1300 block E. 3rd St.
At 3:03 a.m. on August 27, 2017 the Chattanooga Police Department responded to the 1300 block of East 3rd Street concerning a large gathering of people on the parking lot of Speedway. The following information was obtained through preliminary investigations:
8-14-17 - Officer Involved Shooting / 5000 block Rossville Blvd
At approximately 5:00 p.m. on August 14, 2017, the Chattanooga Police Department and Rossville Police Department were involved in a officer involved shooting. The following are the releasable facts surrounding that incident:
8-23-17 Shooting suspect arrested - 4300 block Oakland Ave
UPDATE (8/23/17):
A suspect in this shooting incident has been arrested. Jonathan Smith is charged with Attempted First Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault. DOB: 11/26/1983
8-24-17 Shooting suspect arrested - 400 block Gillespie Rd
On August 23, 2017 at 11:00 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a person shot at the 400 block of Gillespie Rd. Within a few hours of the call investigators were able to arrest a suspect. The following are the preliminary facts of the incident.
