You may complete the application process on any computer or mobile device. The Human Resources Department at City Hall and all of the Chattanooga Public Libraries have computers and assistance is available upon request.

By selecting View All Jobs you can preview all open positions with the City.

Select Apply Now in your job of interest by simply using your email. No password is needed! Your profile will be created and kept up to date automatically as you enter details for each of your job applications.

Success Tip! It is important to include all of your relevant education and experience in your profile and include a resume when possible.

Returning Applicants may easily update their profile by clicking on Manage Profile

Current Employees can easily update their profile within the Careers and Performance section of your Oracle Dashboard. Apply for a position within the Jobs section of your Dashboard.

Applications are accepted only for open recruiting announcements.  Join the City's Talent Community to receive notifications for future new job openings and employment opportunities.

Important note: all employees of the City of Chattanooga must be residents of the state of Tennessee, as per the City Charter Section 3.1.1. You may live outside the state as an applicant, but must be a resident of Tennessee as an employee.
