Chattanooga Parks and Outdoors offers refresher courses to help become recertified. 
Scholarships are available to PAY for your lifeguard certification. Call Peggy Grall at 643-6608. Great for teens all the way to retired individuals! 

Lifeguard Requirements:
Must possess current American Red Cross, YMCA along with Standard First Aid and American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer including AED or the equivalent from the American Heart Association.
Must be a minimum of 15 years of age.
Possess effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to understand and follow through with directions.
