3-12-21 UPDATE: Suspect Arrested / 3-11-21 Armed Bank Robbery - Seeking Community's Help
UPDATE: Thanks to tips from members of the community and assistance from numerous law enforcement agencies, the suspect in the armed bank robbery that occurred on March 11, 2021 has been arrested.
Suspect, Todd Templeton (51), was located in Cleveland, TN on March 12, 2021. He is charged with Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Kidnapping. He is also wanted on active warrants for bank robberies in other states and is currently on federal probation.Templeton will be booked at the Bradley County Jail after he receives medical treatment for a pre-existing injury. The Chattanooga Police Department's Robbery Unit was assisted by Bradley County Sheriff's Office, Cleveland Police Department, CPD Fugitive Unit, FBI, and U.S. Marshals Service.

Investigators from the Chattanooga Department's Robbery Unit are seeking the public's help in providing any information that would lead to the identification and arrest of an armed bank robbery suspect.
Around noon on Thursday, March 11, 2021, a bank robbery occurred at the SunTrust Bank located at 2201 E. Third St. The suspect entered the business, demanded money from a teller, and left in a white pickup truck with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is described as a male, White, possibly over 6-feet tall. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a black and grey beanie, light blue jeans, and a khaki/olive jacket. The attached photos were captured by various security cameras that show the suspect during the robbery and the vehicle he fled in.
