On December 29, 2019 at approximately 9:05 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a Person Shot call in the 5300 block of Meadowbrook Lane. The following are the preliminary facts of the investigation:

UPDATE (1-8-20): Chattanooga Police Department's Gang Unit Officers have arrested a suspect in the non-fatal shooting incident that occurred in the 2000 block of Rawlings Street on December 29, 2019.

On December 24, 2019 at approximately 1:50 p.m., the Chattanooga Police Department's Traffic Unit responded to 4100 North Access Road on a two vehicle traffic crash. The following was determined through interview, observation, and investigation.

UPDATE (12-25-19): The Chattanooga Police Department has identified the deceased male located in the 3400 block of Vinewood Drive on December 24, 2019 as 31-year-old Xavier Oliver. Mr. Oliver's family has been notified of his death.

On December 24, 2019 at approximately 11:15 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a report of Shots Fired in the 3400 block of Vinewood Drive. The following are the preliminary facts of the investigation:

Upon arrival, police located a deceased male lying in the road with apparent gunshot wounds.
Hamilton County EMS arrived and pronounced the victim deceased.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s). The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.

On December 23, 2019 at approximately 7:18 a.m., the Chattanooga Police Department's Traffic Unit responded to 5440 Highway 153 on a fatal traffic crash involving a pedestrian. The following was determined through interview, observation, and investigation.
