12-01-19 Fatal Traffic Crash - 5025 Highway 58
On December 1, 2019 at approximately 11:28 p.m., the Chattanooga Police Department's Traffic Unit responded to 5025 Highway 58 on a single vehicle traffic crash with ejection. The following was determined through interview, observation, and investigation.
11-29-19 Shooting - Unknown Location
On November 29, 2019 at approximately 7:58 p.m., Chattanooga Police were notified that a person with injuries from a gunshot wound arrived at a local hospital. The following are the preliminary facts of the investigation:
11-25-19 Homicide / Shooting - 4400 block Fagan Street
On November 25, 2019 at approximately 7:21 p.m., Chattanooga Police were notified of a person shot in the area of 101 W. 38th Street.
11-30-19 Shooting - 2400 Fifth Avenue Court
On November 30, 2019 at approximately 12:15 a.m., Chattanooga Police were called to a local hospital after a person arrived with injuries from a gunshot wound. The following are the preliminary facts of the investigation:
11-26-19 UPDATE: ARREST / 11-24-19 Homicide / Shooting - 1600 block Dogwood Drive
UPDATE (11-26-19): Chattanooga Police have made an arrest in the homicide of Floyd Preston that occurred on November 24, 2019 in the 1600 block of Dogwood Drive. Marvin Preston (68) has been charged with Criminal Homicide. He has been transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
