On November 14, 2019 at approximately 11:02 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to the 900 block of Douglas Street on a report of shots fired.
11-7-19 Fatal Traffic Crash - 5238 Highway 153
On November 7, 2019 at approximately 7:19 a.m., a fatal injury crash occurred at 5238 Highway 153 northbound involving a motorcycle. The CPD Traffic Unit responded to the scene. The following was determined through interview, investigation and observation:
10-31-19 Officer Involved Traffic Crash - 1400 Highway 27 South
On October 31, 2019 at approximately 1:45 a.m., the CPD Traffic/DUI Unit responded to a crash involving a Soddy-Daisy Police Ford Taurus (Vehicle 1) and a Ford Escape (Vehicle 2). The following was determined through interview, observation, and investigation.
11-6-19 Fatal Traffic Crash - 7000 Shallowford Road
UPDATE: The Chattanooga Police Department notified next of kin that the driver succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash on November 6, 2019. He is identified as Eric Lewis Pitts.
