UPDATE (10/2/19): Chattanooga Police Officers arrest a suspect in Person Shot call that occurred on September 28, 2019 in the 3700 block of Youngstown Road. Alfonvo Johnson was taken into custody on October 2, 2019 by CPD's Fugitive Officers with assistance from the United States Marshals Service, Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Unit, Cleveland Police Department, and Bradley County Sheriff's Office. Johnson is charged with Attempted First Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault. He is currently in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.

UPDATE (11-19-19): Chattanooga Police with the assistance of the Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force arrested a suspect wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred in the 3800 block of Larry Drive on September 28, 2019. The suspect, a 15-year-old male, is currently in custody in Walker County, Georgia. He is charged with Criminal Homicide, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon while in the Commission of a Felony, and Reckless Endangerment. The suspect will be extradited to Hamilton County at a later date.

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.

On September 24, 2019 at approximately 4:32 p.m., Chattanooga Police were notified of a party who had been shot in the 1300 block of Greenwood Road.
