On September 24, 2019 at approximately 1:00 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to the 3200 block of Clio Avenue on a report of a person who had been shot.

On September 21, 2019 at approximately 1:28 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to the 600 block of Sylvan Drive on a report of a person shot.
2-24-20 UPDATE: ARREST / 9-13-19 UPDATE: Arrest/9-12-19 - Homicide / Shooting - 3900 block Dahlia Street
UPDATE (2-24-20): A fourth suspect has been arrested in the September, 2019 murder of 20-year-old Darrell Hill.
Chattanooga Police Homicide Investigators charged James Terrell Holmes-Hamilton with Felony Murder and Especially Aggravated Robbery. Holmes-Hamilton is in custody at the Detroit Reentry Center in Detroit, Michigan. He will remain in custody in Michigan until he is extradited to Hamilton County.

9-14-19 Welcomes new K-9
The Chattanooga Police Department welcomes the newest K-9 to the agency. The thirteen-month-old Malinois named "Sonitrol" was donated to the department by the electronic security company of the same name.
9-16-19 UPDATE/9-12-19 - Serious Injury Traffic Crash - 4600 Shallowford Road
Update (9-16-19): The Chattanooga Police Department has been notified that the driver of the motorcycle (Vehicle #1) has succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash on September 12, 2019. He is identified as Daniel M. Henson.
