Updated Information: Deontae Talley the 29-year-old suspect wanted for the Homicide that occurred in the 900 block of Dodson Avenue on April 15, 2019 turned himself in to Chattanooga Police.

Updated Information: The pedestrian in the fatal traffic accident at 3459 Amnicola Highway is identified as Lakhbir Singhshergill.

On April 11, 2019 at approximately 9:13 p.m., Chattanooga Police were dispatched to a person shot in the 4900 block of Edingburg Drive. Dispatch advised the victim was already on the way to a local hospital.

(Chattanooga, TN) - The Chattanooga Police Department is warning residents of buy site and telephone scams and offers tips for community members to protect themselves. Recently, CPD has seen increased reporting in these scams. Unfortunately, these types of scams are very difficult to investigate due to the method of contact and the form of payment demanded from victims. The best defense is to be aware, informed, and to never give personal information to unknown callers.

UPDATE (4/10/19): Chattanooga Fugitive Detectives with the assistance of Hamilton County Fugitive Detectives, US Marshall's, and Soddy Daisy Police Department have located and taken Charles Jackson into custody. Mr. Jackson will be transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
