Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) Narcotics Investigators arrest a man attempting to smuggle nearly three pounds of marijuana, hundreds of THC oil vials, and drug paraphernalia while traveling through the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport. Shawn E. Williams, 30, is charged with Possession of Marijuana for Resale and THC Vapes for Resale.

UPDATE (3/25/19): Chattanooga Police arrest a suspect from a shooting that occurred in the 5700 block of Lee Highway on March 19, 2019 leaving one man with serious injuries. Josh Santana (21) is charged with Attempted Murder and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Dangerous Felony. Santana was taken into custody on March 25, 2019 after a warrant service and subsequent Hamilton County Sheriffs Office SWAT call on Clark Road in Hamilton County.

The Chattanooga Police Department Violent Crimes Investigators were aided by Hamilton County Sheriffs Office in taking Santana into custody. Santana was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

On March 13, 2019 a suspect involved in a Shots Fired call in the 1400 block of Cowart Street was arrested by Chattanooga Police and booked into the Hamilton County Jail on a Felonious Reckless Endangerment charge. The suspect is identified as 18-year-old Brandon Rogers.

On March 16, 2019 at approximately 9:13 p.m., the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a local hospital on a report of a person who arrived with a gunshot wound.

On March 10, 2019 at 8:36 a.m. the Chattanooga Police responded to a medical emergency call at a residence in the 200 block of Hunt Avenue. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident:
