Chattanooga Police officers, professional staff, community members and partner agencies were recognized for their service this evening at the Chattanooga Police Department Annual Awards Ceremony held at Calvary Chapel.

UPDATE (9/19/18)

On Wednesday, September 19, 2018, Chattanooga Police charged 26-year-old Darius Woods with Attempted First Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony. Woods is currently in the custody of the Hamilton County Jail.

Chattanooga Police arrest a man who robbed the First Tennessee American Bank located at 5526 Brainerd Road on August 29, 2018 at approximately 12:57 p.m.

UPDATE (9/5/18):

Chattanooga Police Violent Crimes Bureau and Fugitive Division have made two arrests for the Vance Ave homicide. This was done with the assistance of the Polk County SO, Benton Police Department and the United States Marshals.

On Friday, September 7, 2018, Chattanooga Police charged 23-year-old Jonathan Conyers with Attempted First Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm while in Commission of a Felony, and Reckless Endangerment. Conyers was booked at the Hamilton County Jail for shooting Demontez Russell on August 30, 2018 in the 100 block of East 19th Street.
