On 08/10/2018 at approximately 10:32 p.m. officers with the Chattanooga Police Department responded to the 2000 block of Museum Street on reports of a person shot.
8-11-18 ARREST / STABBING - 1000 block Peeples St
On 08/11/2018 at approximately 12:09 a.m., Chattanooga Police were dispatched to a person stabbed at 1000 Peeples Street.
8-9-18 Aggravated Assault - 1617 Wilcox Blvd (CARTA)
UPDATE (8/9/18): On August 9, 2018 investigators with the Chattanooga Police Department made an arrest of the suspect in this case.

8-10-18 ARREST/Homicide - 100 block O'Neal St.
On Friday, August 10, 2018, the Chattanooga Police Department charged 27-year-old Anthony Broome II with Criminal Homicide, Felony Reckless Endangerment, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony. Broome is the suspect in the shooting of Shandar Weaver (aka Shalone Wingate) that occurred on June 15, 2017 in the 100 block of O'Neal Street.
8-8-18 Pedestrian Safety
With school starting today for many in Chattanooga streets are becoming increasingly congested with cars, bicycles, and pedestrians. The Chattanooga Police Department is reminding drivers, bikers, and walkers to exercise caution especially during student drop-off and pick-up times.
