9-2-21 Shooting- 6300 Stockton Drive
On September 2, 2021 at approximately 9:18 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to the 6300 block of Stockton Dr on a report of a person shot. The following are the preliminary facts of the investigation:
8-26-21 Traffic Fatality- 5700 Hwy 153
On August 25, 2021 at approximately 2:30 a.m., Chattanooga Police Traffic Division responded to a vehicle crash at 5700 Hwy 153. The following was determined through interview, observation, and investigation:
UPDATE: 10-6-21 Suspects Arrested / 8-17-21 CPD Requests Public Assistance in Mall Shooting
Update (10-6-21): Chattanooga Police Violent Crimes Investigators have arrested two suspects in connection with the August 12, 2021 shooting incident that occurred inside Hamilton Place Mall. Both suspects are juveniles (both 17 yoa). One faces charges of Inciting to Riot, Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Vandalism. The other faces charges of Reckless Endangerment and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
Investigators continue to follow all leads and the case remains active.
8-17-21 Traffic Fatality- 2300 East 23rd St
On August 13, 2021 at approximately 6:05 a.m., Chattanooga Police Officers responded to a vehicle crash at 2300 East 3rd Street. The following was determined through interview, observation, and investigation:
